Version 1.2.0 of Posterno is now available for download from wordpress.org. This update brings the first custom Gutenberg block for Posterno, together with some other adjustments.

The listings block

The “Listings” block gives you the ability to display your listings anywhere you want. Furthermore, it comes with a powerful taxonomy filtering feature.

With the listings block, it’s now easier to create custom pages based on your taxonomies. For example, you could create a page with the listing type “event” that have been added to the location “New York”.

If that’s not enough, you can also filter by category and tags. Additionally, any other taxonomy registered for the “listings” post type, is automatically recognized by the block and available for filtering.

If you’re interested in using the block, we’ve added a new article to our documentation that shows how to get the best out of Gutenberg and Posterno.

More blocks

The listings block is just the beginning. In the future we plan to add blocks for many other features that are provided by Posterno and it’s extensions.

What’s next

Development of the “Reviews & Ratings” extension has started. It’ll be the next premium extension for Posterno.
